You can receive eBay a-go-go™ auction alerts if you
currently subscribe to any of the following SkyTel services:
- SkyWord*
- SkyWord Plus
- SkyWriter
*Your SkyWord unit must be capable of receiving full text
messages. If you subscribe to a numeric-on-alpha service (that is, you receive only
numeric messages on a pager capable of receiving text) you can upgrade to alphanumeric
service by calling your SkyTel Customer Service Representative at 1-800-SKY-USER.
How much will the eBay a-go-go service cost me?
eBay a-go-go service will be provided to you at no
additional charge. However, normal usage charges will apply. Your service will not include
the eBay News messages because your pager is not an eBay pager.
What do I need to do?

Just Sign Up! When you sign up for eBay a-go-go, you will need to create an eBay a-go-go ID. You
will use this eBay a-go-go ID as part of your new Email address that you have on file with
eBay (that is, eBay a-go-go ID@auction.skytel.com) |

Change your Email address on
eBay. You must use this @auction.skytel.com Email address as the Email address
listed in your eBay user profile. If you ever cancel your SkyTel service, you must update
your Email address in your eBay user profile.
IMPORTANT: If you turn off your eBay Email notifications in your eBay user profile, you
will not receive notifications on your wireless device. |
