I’m not sure whether I can receive eBay a-go-go™ auction alerts on my
current wireless device…
You can receive eBay a-go-go auction alerts only if your
wireless device (pager, cell phone or PDA) has an Internet Email address and is capable of
receiving complete word messages. If you’re not sure whether your device has these
capabilities, please contact your service provider for further information.
How much will the eBay a-go-go service cost me?
eBay a-go-go service will be provided by SkyTel
at no additional charge. Your normal usage charges
will apply and will be billed by your service provider.
However, your eBay a-go-go service will not include
the eBay News messages, and you will not have access
to SkyTel Page Recall, which allows you to access
your messages via telephone.
What do I need to do?

Just Sign Up! When you sign up for eBay a-go-go, you will need to create an
eBay a-go-go ID. You will use this eBay a-go-go ID as part of your new Email address that
you have on file with eBay (that is, eBay a-go-go ID@auction.skytel.com) |

Change your Email address on
eBay. You must use this @auction.skytel.com Email address as the Email address
in your eBay user profile. If you ever cancel or change your wireless service, you must
update your Email address in your eBay user profile. Also update your eBay a-go-go profile
on this site if you want to continue receiving eBay a-go-go service.
IMPORTANT: If you turn off your eBay Email notifications in your eBay user profile, you
will not receive notifications on your wireless device. |
