SKYTEL CORP.'S INTERIM PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT

Because your privacy is important to us, SkyTel Corp.
("SkyTel") has adopted the following interim policy regarding the use of your
personal information that it receives from you through this web site:
This policy governs the use of your unique identifying personal
information, such as your name, home address, e-mail address and Personal Identification
Number (collectively "Personal Information") that SkyTel receives from you by
virtue of your use of this web site.
SkyTel will use your Personal Information for the purposes of providing
you with wireless messaging and other services you request, billing you for those services
and notifying you or contacting you regarding any problem with the services. In these
contexts, it may be necessary for SkyTel to divulge your Personal Information to one or
more of its affiliates, but such affiliates will only use the information for these
purposes. Neither SkyTel nor its affiliates will use your Personal Information for any
other purpose and will not disclose your Personal Information to any third party, other
than affiliates of SkyTel, except as required by law or with your permission. SkyTel does
not sell Personal Information to third parties for profit.
Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, SkyTel reserves the right to
use your Personal Information received through this web site for the purpose of marketing
or promoting our goods and services directly to you. However, in the event you do not wish
for your Personal Information to be used for such purpose, please notify SkyTel Customer
Service by calling (800) SKYUSER [(800) 759-8737].
We also may use information which you submit over our web site to
compile statistics and other aggregate information about our customer base, in order to
enable us to serve our customers better, to design new product offerings to appeal to our
customer base, and to market goods and services. Aggregate information of this kind, when
it does not contain unique identifying information about individuals such as names,
addresses, etc. is not considered "Personal Information" and it may be disclosed
to third parties at our discretion.
SkyTel has taken commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the
integrity and security of the data obtained by SkyTel by virtue of your use of this web
site. If you would like to obtain a copy of the data file containing your Personal

SkyTel is currently in the process of formulating its privacy policy
and plans to finalize our official statement in this regard. If at any time you believe
SkyTel has not adhered to this policy, please notify us by EMail, and we will use
commercially reasonable efforts to promptly determine and correct the problem. If you have

Security and Use of
Credit Card Information.
Credit card account information that you provide to us when ordering
our products and services online will be used and disclosed only as necessary to verify
your credit account and to charge your account for the products and services ordered. When
you use our web page order forms to transmit your credit card account information, our
system uses the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) security protocol to encrypt the data so that
it cannot be intercepted and accessed by unauthorized parties as it is transmitted over
the Internet. The SSL protocol is an open protocol specifically designed for securing data
communication over computer networks, and because of its excellent security record, SSL
has become the Internet industry standard for secure transactions in e-commerce.
