ActiveBoundaries
SkyGuard ActiveBoundaries are geographical boundaries that you define. Use
ActiveBoundaries to monitor
arrivals and departures and to monitor a vehicle’s access to restricted
areas. For example, you might set up an ActiveBoundary for a school so that you’ll
know when your kids arrive and leave school grounds. Or, you could set up
an ActiveBoundary around a dangerous part of town where you don’t want your family to
go.
Setting up an ActiveBoundary is a easy three step process
and you can add alerts to let you know immediately when a vehicle
exits or enters an ActiveBoundary. |

Alerts
SkyGuard Alerts can be sent to any email address, to your mobile phone using SMS text messaging,
or to your SkyTel pager.
Set alerts to notify you when:
-
A vehicle enters or exits a SkyGuard Zone
-
A vehicle exceeds a safe
speed for more than a minute
-
A vehicle’s ignition is turned on or off.
Use Ignition Alerts when you don’t want a vehicle driven – a great theft
notification tool!
-
Power to a SkyGuard device is
interrupted. Power Failure Alerts will let you know if a SkyGuard device has been disconnected.

Reports
The SkyGuard database gives you access to your vehicle’s data for
the last 45 days. SkyGuard Reports allow you to view and save the data
specific to your needs:
-
Location Reports show where the vehicle has been.
-
Zone Reports show each time a vehicle entered or exited a SkyGuard Zone.
-
Speeding Reports show each time a vehicle exceeded a specified speed threshold.
-
Trip Reports show when the vehicle’s engine was started or stopped and the number of miles traveled.
Creating a report is as simple as providing a time period.
And, you can view the report on screen, print it, and export it to your spreadsheet or database program: |
